Cecilia Traslavia is an animator, visual artist with a masters in literature. She works as a professor and researcher in the Department of Visual Arts of the Javeriana University in Bogotá. Colombia. In her work, she explores childhood memories and the unconscious, leaning on nonlinear narratives with techniques from the visual arts and literature. She has collaborated with various artists and audiovisual schools in the creation of collective works that address diverse themes and genres from an experimental perspective. She has done curatorship on experimental animation in Colombia and Latin America, which have been presented in various stages nationally and internationally. She is an active member of Moebius-Animation, whose objective is to amplify the voices of Latin American experimental animation
