Currently director at National Institute of Design, Johrat, V Ravishankar acquired a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1985 from University College of Engineering, Osmania University, and PG diploma in Product Design from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad in 1986. He has worked as a designer, both independently and in roles in the industry in diverse sectors such as Product, Furniture, Lifestyle, IT, Advertising, Retail, Indian Crafts and the Government sector.
